About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating equipment in accordance with best practice, complying with health and safety rules and regulations, and contributing to achieving budgeted site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment in accordance with best practice, complying with health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide a comprehensive production service across the site, operating plant, carrying out maintenance & cleaning schedules as designated
- Support other team members and develop positive relationships with colleagues
- Comply with company policies and statutory regulations for health & safety and the environment
- Adhere to operational procedures and production timelines
- Monitor a production line and conduct basic testing and quality checks
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Direct Manufacturing Operational experience working in a fast-paced, Consumer goods environment
- Previous skills in the theory and application of Total Productive Maintenance and improvement principles
- Working knowledge of SAP & EWM
- FLT License preferred
- Excellent communication, team support and facilitation skills
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Sound knowledge of HSE processes and application
