Job Summary: Solicitor sought for a law firm in Dublin Centre with hybrid work potential, requiring 3+ years PQE in general practice with experience in litigation and conveyancing.
Working with experienced litigation and conveyancing solicitors and a dedicated team of legal executives and support staff, this role offers great potential for career advancement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client-facing and touch point for clients
- Ensuring client-specific SLAs are met
- Taking instructions from clients
- Reviewing files to ascertain next steps
- Giving advice to clients on file progress
- Dealing with incoming correspondence from clients, agents, and solicitors
- Contributing to departmental targets
- Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
- Briefing counsel and appearing in court
- Drafting proceedings and motions
- Liaising with clients and court services
Requirements:
- 3+ years PQE in general practice with experience in litigation and conveyancing
- Strong team player with ability to work independently
- Pro-active thinker and problem solver
- Calm, professional, and approachable manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with litigation and conveyancing procedures and documents
- Previous experience in debt recovery and repossessions an advantage
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
