General Store Manager Opportunity
A dynamic and experienced General Store Manager is sought for a renowned big-box retail chain in Dublin & Meath, driving P&L performance, margin targets, and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operating, trading, and managing directors to enhance sales performance.
- Roll out strategic business initiatives across the store.
- Maintain and enforce high store standards, aligning with the company's visual and commercial goals.
- Manage a team of 5-10 support managers and oversee 50+ colleagues.
- Achieve business KPIs, P&L targets, and company goals.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of company products and services.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to monitor performance and trends, and recommend changes to improve productivity and profitability.
- Oversee store capacity, inventory management, loss prevention, and workflow processes.
- Drive customer engagement and satisfaction, ensuring the store delivers exceptional service.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of senior store management experience in high-volume fashion, home, or grocery sectors.
- Extensive experience in strategic, commercial, and operational management within a large retail environment.
- Proven track record in full P&L management, achieving margin and KPI goals.
- Strong decision-making abilities and leadership skills.
- A passion for maintaining high store standards, customer engagement, and business development.
- Experience managing teams in a turnover of €10m+.
