Job Description

General Utility Worker II Role

Essential role serving back of the house and front of house Food & Beverage (F&B) aspects, maintaining a safe sanitary work environment and gaining extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment use and cleaning techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record food and equipment temperature
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties
  • Attend in-house training sessions
  • Present a professional image at all times, promoting good customer relations
  • Comply with and assist in implementing health and safety policies
  • Service food and beverages to customers according to Campbell Catering standards
  • Ensure adherence to food hygiene regulations
  • Assist chefs with food deliveries, ensuring high standards of produce
  • Store food and equipment accurately, following stock rotation and food hygiene regulations
  • Clean service areas, equipment, and furniture
  • Prepare service areas and points
  • Accurately store food items and equipment after service

Required Qualifications

  • Previous food preparation experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of various food preparation methods, accurate knife handling, and food safety regulations is preferred
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

This role may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may also be required.
