GIS Technician Contract: 1-year term with review This role involves supporting the rollout of Ireland's next phase of fibre broadband within our Telecoms department. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain maps and records using ArcGIS
- Assemble and georeferenced field data
- Maintain and edit databases
- Design geodatabase files and build maps (ArcGIS/QGIS)
- Develop dashboards for construction control
- Create tools on platforms like 123 Survey and Field Maps
- Provide construction data to Design Department for handovers
Requirements: - Master's degree in GIS or related field
- Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS)
- Knowledge of georeferencing, Python, SQL, Postgre SQL, PostGIS
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural environment
