Uniphar Group is a rapidly expanding diversified healthcare services business with a global footprint and a proud heritage in Ireland. Since Uniphar became a publicly listed company in 2019, the Group has grown organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions, which continue to strengthen Uniphar's international reach. With a workforce of more than 3,000 spread across Ireland, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the Nordics, Benelux, Germany and the USA, Uniphar is a trusted global partner to pharma and medtech manufacturers, working to improve patient access to medicines and treatments around the world.
Uniphar provides outsourced and specialised services to its clients, leveraging the strong relationships with 200+ of the world's best known pharmaco-medical manufacturers across multiple geographies, enabled by our cutting-edge digital technology and our expert teams. Uniphar is organised into three key divisions; Supply Chain & Retail, Commercial & Clinical (Med Tech / Pharma) and Product Access.
Uniphar has been highly acquisitive over the last 12 years and has seen tremendous growth within all divisions. This is a newly created key strategic role which will lead the operations business and build out a connected and integrated global operational infrastructure. The ambition now is to double the size of the group over the next 3 years. This role will be instrumental in driving this One Uniphar approach across the operations function. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to support group-wide strategic projects.
Your qualifications, experience and background are important to us, but we also care about cultural fit. We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation striving for excellence. We are ambitious and are moving at a fast pace. You can expect to be part of a supportive and collaborative team with leaders who strive for quality and excellence without compromise.
We expect you to be a senior leader in your field with 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry in a Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical, or Regulatory position or a combination thereof and/or working with a regulatory health authority.
Experience working in a highly regulated environment and an understanding of GDP, GMP and European quality standards would be important. The successful candidate should have the knowledge, experience, and leadership style to grow the team through coaching, strategy building and execution to ensure right first-time operation.
An ability and willingness to work cross-functionally, focusing on meeting, and tracking schedules and embracing an interdependent/flexible work culture. A progressive, non-bureaucratic approach to the role with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly across the organisation. A willingness to travel across the Global site network to understand the business and build relationships.
As this role is global, there is flexibility to be based in any one of Uniphar's offices or work to our Hybrid model. There will be the need for regular face-to-face interactions in Uniphar HQ in Citywest, Dublin and other locations, as needed. Given our business is spread across multiple time zones, there will be some flexibility required in order to interact with colleagues (i.e., it's not a '9 to 5' role).
In return, you will be joining an environment that understands how inter-twined work and life have become - and both the benefits and challenges that brings - and therefore offers a flexible, progressive way of supporting it through our Hybrid Working philosophy.
