Job Description

**Global Head of Accounting & Treasury** Seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the accounting and treasury functions of a fast-growing Irish technology business. **Responsibilities:** * **Financial Reporting**: Oversee month-end accounting close, inter-company accounting, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. * **Controls & Systems**: Streamline and review accounting and systems support processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk. * **External Audit Management**: Manage the external audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize audit findings. * **Strategic Support**: Provide strategic analysis and support for integration of newly acquired businesses, valuations, and financial planning. * **Treasury**: Oversee treasury accounting, cash flow forecasting, and banking and compliance to ensure effective management of the company's financial resources. * **Leadership and Growth**: Lead and develop the accounting and finance team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to support the company's growth. **Ideal Candidate:** * **Qualified Accountant**: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification * **Big 4 Training**: Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm * **Financial Reporting Experience**: Relevant PQE in a financial reporting role with a medium or large company (c. €100m+ rev with international entities) * **Technical Accounting Knowledge**: Strong technical accounting knowledge, including FRS102 and IFRS * **Systems Savvy**: Experience with ERP systems and ability to analyze and improve processes **About Our Client:** * **Fast-Growing Technology Business**: Our client is a fast-growing, PE-owned, Irish technology business with a strong track record of growth and acquisition. * **International Operations**: The company has a global presence with international entities and a strong focus on financial reporting and compliance. **Remuneration:** * **Competitive Salary**: A competitive salary package, including bonus, pension, and health insurance * **Generous AL Allowance**: A generous annual leave allowance * **Hybrid Working Policy**: A hybrid working policy in place to support work-life balance
