**Global Engineering Leader** Teleflex is a global provider of medical technologies driven by a purpose to improve the health and quality of people's lives. We are seeking a Global Engineering Leader to drive the development of our Global Engineering function, unifying and standardizing our approach to engineering. **Job Description** As a Global Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a global engineering strategy, driving the development and deployment of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and establishing technical training programs to minimize unwanted disruption. You will also drive the development and deployment of equipment and tool management strategies, standardized approaches to engineering line support, and advanced process engineering. **Key Responsibilities:** • Develop and deploy a global engineering strategy • Drive the development and deployment of preventive and predictive maintenance programs • Establish technical training programs to minimize unwanted disruption • Drive the development and deployment of equipment and tool management strategies • Develop and deploy standardized approaches to engineering line support • Develop and deploy advanced process engineering, including automation, design for manufacturing, and disruptive technologies • Identify core technologies and articulate standardization requirements for equipment, tooling, etc. • Identify and implement yield monitoring and improvement programs, material substitution opportunities, etc. • Develop and deploy best practice process documentation, including setup methodology • Develop and deploy best practice process control methodologies • Establish and manage a global capital planning process • Develop and provide meaningful input to R&D teams to facilitate and improve the level of new product design for manufacturing • Consistently exhibit leadership competencies and TFX Core Values • Manage effective communication and business relationships with R&D, Marketing, or other functions as necessary • Adhere to and ensure compliance with Teleflex's Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures • Maintain compliance with all applicable safety standards and other regulations **Requirements:** • Advanced degree in engineering • Experience working in a matrix organization and leading technical virtual teams • Minimum of 10 years of previous engineering leadership experience in a related industry • Six Sigma Black Belt • Business acumen and ability to communicate to all levels within the organization • Leadership skills, including the ability to develop, mentor, and influence engineers and managers within and outside of span of management • Experience in developing and implementing global engineering teams, including strategy setting and deployment • Experience with advanced technology integration and development and implementation of disruptive technologies • Expert understanding of materials properties and the practical application of these principles in establishing robust manufacturing processes • Ability to apply proven engineering concepts through disciplined approaches • Skilled statistical practitioner with experience applying statistical analysis and using the output of these analysis to improve operations • Knowledge and experience in designing and performing design of experiments • Knowledge and experience with design for manufacturing • Project management practitioner **Behaviours & Values:** • Approachable and collaborative • Flexible and adaptable • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player • Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
