Works to translate the sales demand into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements. Also, manages the planning and delivery team including employee training, development, and career progression.As a Global Materials & Planning Operations Leader, you will be responsible for:Establishing the planning and delivery processesEnsuring planning and delivery processes are being implemented correctly and aligned to the Center Of Excellence governanceWorking with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plan into physical ordersBeing accountable for prioritizing the orders to meet the business goalsBeing responsible for executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plantsProviding overall planning and delivery guidance for ordersBeing responsible for routing orders to the various plantsManaging and processing order exceptionsManaging communication between the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery with respect to order datesPlanning deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitmentsWorking with the region Sales and Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)Being responsible to ensure orders are appropriately maintained in SAP (aged orders, etc) Manage Global inventory strategy and executionManaging the materials planning and delivery team including employee training, development, and career progressionFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experienceHave experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and managementHave a deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionalityHave the ability to work with and influence stakeholdersHave strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgencyBe able to demonstrate experience managing and developing teamsHave Certifications in APICS is advantageousHave people leader experience (direct, matrix or through influence) with demonstrated Leader of Choice capabilities (Drive Culture, Inspire People, Achieve Results, Growth Mindset)Be fluent in English and eligible to work in IrelandWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
