We're looking for a skilled Global Sourcing & Supply Manager to work on strategic sourcing and planning, long term deal structuring and negotiation. This role requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: * Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competition influence * Identify changes in buyer and supplier power and use industry dynamics to Apple's advantage * Perform supplier financial research, spend analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic procurement deals * Manage positive, effective relationships with suppliers to secure best-in-class terms for sourcing * Collaborate across the Apple organization to ensure business objectives are met * Optimize supply chain performance through cost and capacity scenario analysis, and benchmarking * Develop an in-depth understanding of manufacturing costs and market intelligence, and apply this knowledge to influence Apple's future product roadmap and sourcing decisions Requirements: * Minimum 8 years experience in freight forwarding or a related field * Outstanding analytical and operational/mediation skills * Strong Excel, and Keynote/Power Point skills * Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% * Experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field * End to end ownership of contract processes * Tenacity, passion and proven skill in negotiation * Ability to operate independently and lead without authority * Ability to identify and solve multi-layered supply chain issues Note: We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
