The purpose of this role is to carry out scientific test procedures on client samples and produce accurate results within an acceptable time frame using company procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** • Carry out non-routine tasks in the laboratory or perform specific analysis as assigned • Develop and validate new tests and procedures for the company and clients • Complete specific technological projects and write up results accurately, confidentially, and on time • Sign technical documents, including laboratory reports, SOPs, protocols, and investigation reports • Deputise for management as required • Liaise closely with the Section Manager to ensure resources are available to guarantee testing activities are completed to customer timelines • Review test methods for quotation purposes • Continually liaise with management, customers, and other members of the organisation on relevant problem areas or enhancements to the business **Requirements:** • Degree in a Scientific discipline • 5+ years' experience in a regulated GMP laboratory environment • Analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, GC, UV-Vis and Dissolution) • Strong knowledge and experience with LC-MS is a requirement for this role • Ability to perform moderately complex and complex laboratory activities • Good team player, organised, accurate, with strong documentation skills • Passionate about quality and customer service • Good communication skills both internally and externally
