Job Description

Job Summary: Drive Change and Innovation in the Health Region

Lead the delivery of Slintecare and the Health Region priority change programme, ensuring successful implementation and delivery to cost, time, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a change/project management approach to ensure all change is planned and implemented in a managed and systematic way.
  • Act as a central point for approved project methodology, lessons learned, and best practice to enable successful project delivery.
  • Drive and oversee change & innovation at a local level, ensuring relevant Steering Groups, working groups, and project teams have the necessary information to make change decisions.
  • Connect projects and programmes across the Health Regions, identifying interdependencies and risks, and promoting change efforts throughout the health system.
  • Assist change/project teams to deliver on an agreed scope of work by providing advice, suggestions, and developing required team competencies.
  • Collate and report programme and project status reports, manage project documentation, and monitor and review programme and project performance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004.
  • Satisfactory experience in an office under the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than Grade IV (or equivalent).
  • Not less than two years satisfactory experience either in that office or in an office at a level not lower than Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004.

Requirements:

  • Requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
