Job Description

Manage and deliver change and innovation projects across the Health Region, ensuring successful implementation of programmes and service improvements.
As a key member of the Health Region Change & Innovation Hub team, you will drive the delivery of Slintecare, including the Health Region priority change programme and associated service improvements. Your focus will be on ensuring these programmes are implemented and delivered to cost, time, and quality requirements through the application of required standards, frameworks, tools, and processes.
**Key Responsibilities:** • Deliver change and project management approach by ensuring all change is appropriately planned and implemented in a managed and systematic way in line with the Health Services Change Guide and project management guidance. • Act as a central point for approved project methodology, lessons learned, and best practice to enable successful project delivery of work to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements. • Drive and oversee change and innovation at a local level and ensure relevant Steering Groups, working groups, and project teams have the appropriate information to make necessary change decisions. • Connect projects and programmes across the Health Regions; identify interdependencies and risks; network and promote change efforts throughout the health system. • Assist change and project teams to deliver on an agreed scope of work by providing advice, suggestions, and developing required team competencies. • Collate and report programme and project status reports for the REO, Executive Management Team members, and Steering Groups; manage project documentation, including risk registers, schedules, incident logs, benefits plan, etc.; monitor and review programme and project performance.
**Essential Criteria:** • Currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004. • Satisfactory experience in an office under the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than Grade IV (or equivalent). • Not less than two years satisfactory experience either in that office or in an office at a level not lower than Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body providing services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004. • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
