Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake surveys and setting-out on site
- Preparation of drawings and calculations for quality control and compliance procedures
- Monitor construction progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise with clients and carry out site investigations
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other parties for project completion according to specifications
- Liaise with quantity surveyors for material ordering and pricing
- Ensure health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, HNC or HND in an Engineering/Construction discipline
- Full UK manual driving license
- Passion for starting a career in the civils/construction industry
- High attention to detail and meticulous planning and organisational skills
- Strong interest in all aspects of engineering and desire for a dynamic workplace
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work flexibly in a team, and a hard worker
