As a Graduate - CTRM Analyst, you will work as part of a core team delivering complex programmes for clients such as Power & Gas utilities, Oil majors, Commodity Trading houses and Brokers.

We are looking for thoughtful, creative and highly skilled analysts who enjoy thinking through complex problems and collaborating with peers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and mastering Energy/Commodity Trading & Risk Management (E/CTRM) products for business & technology consulting.
  • Partnering with capSpire consultants globally and client business teams to understand business objectives and integration requirements.
  • Translating client business requirements into system design.
  • Acquiring business knowledge to help create long-term customer solutions.
  • Verifying functional feasibility and validating solution options for requirements.
  • Analysing, resolving problems and driving improvements of technology solutions.
  • Developing software from requirements to design, to code, to test, to operations & support.
  • Expanding industry knowledge, contributing to the development of capSpire's consulting capabilities and effectively articulating key business propositions to clients.

Required skills and experience include:

  • A unique blend of technical aptitude, business savvy and communication skills.
  • Qualifications within Engineering, Computer Science or other Technical discipline.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Computer science fundamentals, esp. object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design.
  • Exposure to object-oriented programming, preferably C#.
  • Experience with relational databases: data modelling and SQL.
  • Strong problem identification skills and creativity to develop new, innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Interest and willingness to explore a consulting career.
  • Understanding of energy markets is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
