Job Description

Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Contract Duration/Type: Permanent Location: Kilkenny Overview of the role: Assist Senior and Lead Designers in the development of mechanical aspects of water and wastewater treatment plant designs. Duties of the Role include: Assist in developing detailed designs Preparation of drawings using CAD & REVIT with emphases on BIM Preparation of design submissions Liaising between M&E Designers and Civil & Structural Designers Liaising with Client Pipework & Valeve Take-offs Procurement Specifications Required skills for this role: Accredited NFQ Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline 0-1 years previous experience in a similar position Highly organised and efficient Strong Problem solving skills Numerate and highly computer literate Effective Time Management and Communication skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Competent user of relevant design software packages, as well as Microsoft Office Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met Self motivated About Us: Veolia is Irelands leading environmental services company providing solutions that enable ecological transformation.
