Job Description

A Junior Technical Support Engineer is required to assist customers with product information, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and provide training on various machinery automation solutions. Our client, a global provider of machinery automation solutions, is seeking to recruit a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding Dublin team. This role will play a critical part in the company's customer support and technical expertise. Responsibilities: * Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers or end-users * Analyze logs, diagnose problems, and provide solutions * Assist with initial diagnostics of issues reported from the marking and installation product range * Interact with customers primarily via email or phone * Communicate effectively to understand customer issues, provide updates, and guide them through solutions * Liaise with colleagues based in HQ to secure technical information and solutions as required by customers Key Skills: * Technical qualification in Electrical, Engineering or IT Comms * Good organisational skills * Proven technical background with an ability to develop a deep understanding of electrical systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent level of computer skills * Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Knowledge / experience with CRM systems Requirements: * Clean full Irish driving license **Core Competencies** * Ability to stay current with latest technological developments * Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously * Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate technical information to customers and colleagues * Attention to detail and ability to systematically approach problems **Desirable Skills** * Knowledge of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering components, Electrical, Hardware, Communication
