Energy Engineer
Tipperary Energy Agency is driving the energy transition to carbon neutrality through leading the delivery of sustainable energy solutions.
We are seeking a recent Graduate to join our Engineering team and build their career in sustainable engineering.
About the Role
- Using the latest thermal modelling software tools and heat load calculation models, you will identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption in non-residential buildings.
- Assist with energy management tasks, including data analysis, project scoping, project design, tendering and project management.
- Carry out building services condition and environmental audits, and due diligence audits.
- Work with clients to troubleshoot potential services system failure and undertake design reviews.
- Liaise with clients and contractors to provide requested information and undertake technical reports.
About You
- An enthusiastic team player with a degree in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (2.1) or related technical discipline.
- Excellent Communications skills and strong IT and analytical skills.
- A self-starter with a passion for learning in this fast-changing sector.
- Relevant third-level project experience in energy auditing, numerical analysis, and technical drawing software.
