Graduate Mechanical Design Engineers Job In Connacht

Seeking Mechanical Design Engineers for a client in Mayo, Ireland, with 2-3 years experience in mechanical engineering, to develop designs and prepare production drawings.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Mayo, Ireland, to work on designing and developing new products and bringing them through the R&D process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs and prepare detailed production drawings for manufacture.
• Liaise with the production department to maintain and develop existing and future fabrication drawings.
• Work alongside senior design engineers to develop new products and bring them through the R&D processes.
• Liaise with sub-suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure component fabrication/manufacture and component quality meets company expectations.

Qualifications/Experience:

• A third-level qualification in Mechanical / Design Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years design experience in a mechanical engineering role, with experience in agricultural machinery design and/or use an advantage.
• High level knowledge and experience in 3D design packages and related technologies.
• Strong evidence of delivering results in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and thorough, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills to ensure required designs are completed on schedule.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
