Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the role would suit a Mechanical Engineering Graduate looking for a role with training and professional development and someone who is a proactive, self starter with a strong desire to continue advancing their career. The person will also act as system owner for the sites Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP DaMaintis and will be working closely with the sites maintenance manager and maintenance supervisor to ensure the system is fit for purpose and all work orders and preventative maintenance routines is up to date and accurate. Main Responsibilities Providing engineering and technical support as part of the maintenance team. Scheduling, planning and optimising all maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner including shutdowns / outages. Assisting with the development of longer term maintenance strategies. Supervising and directing contractors. Management of inspections, condition monitoring and reliability works, performance testing and ensuring all documentation / reports are up to date. Play a lead role in the optimisation of the Site CMMS and the development of the associated process flows. Act as system owner / administrator for the sites CMMS System - DaMaintis Coordinate with site Maintenance Specialist / scheduler to ensure that services and inspections are scheduled and performed when due, and that resultant corrective work is promptly performed Ensure all equipment required for annual statutory inspections/certification is included within the site asset register Responsible for the management of the sites Calibrations Contractor and associated program. Requirements A degree in Mechanical Engineering qualification. 1+ years Mechanical Engineering experience. Interested in progressing your career. A good communicator with excellent written skills. A team player who work effectively in a multi-functional team environment. Ability to ensure projects are brought to successful completion on time and within budget.
