Job Responsibilities Upon completion of our 24-month graduate programme you will understand the business from the inside out, gaining valuable insights across all areas of the organisation. This will allow you to develop valuable interpersonal and commercial skills together with insurance experience on which to build your future career. Graduates participating in our Underwriting stream will gain exposure to all areas of the department that includes car, home, farm, business and travel while gaining valuable experience in the following; Developing a practical Underwriting skill set through technical underwriting training and on the job application. Learning from experienced underwriting colleagues. Guiding your career direction through our dedicated mentoring programme. Attending our graduate induction and development programmes. Assisting with projects and presenting your findings Using your researching skills and curiosity, bring innovative solutions to real business situations. Learning from experienced business leaders. Education We are particularly interested in graduates from Honors degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline. Experiences An interest in working in the insurance industry. Some relevant work experience. Working knowledge of MS Office suite of applications. Competencies Excellent communication skills. A team player. Capable of working on your own initiative.
