Job Description

Our client based in Dublin city centre is recruiting for an experienced Senior Grants Administrator to support the Central Finance Operations team in a thriving and friendly organisation. You will be reporting initially to the Finance Manager working directly with the Grants & Payroll Administration team within a wider team of ten people. The role will be varied and requires a strong, experienced, highly organised administrator with experience working in a busy, controlled and customer service focussed environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and a can-do attitude are key to this role. Full training will be provided. Flexible hybrid working options are currently in place. Key responsibilities: Supporting/driving compliance and adherence to the policies set down by Revenue, Government Bodies and the organisation supporting a strong compliance culture by ensuring robust internal controls and audit standards are achieved and maintained Key point of contact for the Department of Transport, C&AG, internal and external stakeholders including HR, Revenue and external service providers providing efficient & effective support where required Support the grant administration process end to end Support Internal and External audits as required and provide support for the preparation of annual Financial Statements Key Competencies Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport A can-do and flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills. Essential criteria Have at least 3 years recent, relevant experience Excellent Administrative skills Strong MS office skills Public Sector experience (desirable)
