Greenkeeper Position
We are seeking a skilled Greenkeeper to join our team at Fairmont Carton House. As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the golf course to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside other Greenkeepers to ensure the golf course is prepared for members and guests.
- Assist in turf maintenance, including mowing, irrigating, and controlling pests on the greens.
- Perform general golf course setup procedures.
- Rake bunkers, edge, and repair divots on a daily basis.
- Operate mowers and other equipment.
- Set up golf knowledge.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on a golf course.
- Hold a current Driver's Licence.
- PA 1,2,6, Spraying Certs.
- Cultural and chemical knowledge for fine turf maintenance.
- Machinery, irrigation, chemical, and fertilizer knowledge.
- A minimum of a Level 6 Greenkeeping Qualification.
- A commitment to hard work and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
