Job Description
Seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and flexible Senior Chef/Grill Chef for a Dublin pub. Key responsibilities include food preparation, grilling and cooking, health and safety compliance, inventory management, collaboration, menu development, and adapting to dietary requirements.
- Prep ingredients, marinate, and season for grilling while ensuring quality standards.
- Cook meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables to the right temperature and doneness.
- Follow proper hygiene practices and maintain temperature zones for food.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and store ingredients properly.
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Assist in creating grill-based dishes and seasonal menus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an English speaking kitchen in a similar type bar/restaurant business in Ireland.
- Fluent English and a valid work permit to work full time in Ireland.
- Fully flexible full time availability and enthusiasm for producing good food.
