Department Manager - Grocery Department
We are seeking a Department Manager to lead our Grocery Department in one of our Kildare stores, driving sales and profitability while delivering exceptional customer care and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the budgeted KPI plan for the department and subsequent forecasts
- Lead the team to deliver the agreed business strategy and ensure all relevant trading and legal policies are in place
- Maximise sales through analysing sales data and pre-empting customer needs and demands
- Maintain stock accuracy and ensure the department has the right choice and levels of product to drive sales
- Monitor and address any variations to the cost base of the department on a week-to-week basis
- Set and implement department brand standards and ensure they are achieved through regular monitoring
- Ensure the Department complies with layouts and adjacencies
- Train and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales and operational targets
