Grocery Department Manager Job In Kildare

We are seeking a Department Manager to lead our Grocery Department in one of our Kildare stores, driving sales and profitability while delivering exceptional customer care and operational standards.

**Job Description** As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for: * Delivering the budgeted KPI plan for the department and ensuring operational standards are met * Leading the team to deliver outstanding results and customer service * Maximising sales through analysing sales data and pre-empting customer needs * Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring the department has the right choice and levels of product * Demonstrating excellent customer service and ensuring the "Dunnes Stores Experience" customer service programme is delivered * Monitoring and addressing variations to the cost base of the department * Setting and implementing department brand standards * Ensuring the department complies with layouts and adjacencies * Coaching and training the team to be passionate and knowledgeable about sales, product availability, and customer service **Requirements** * Good communication, coaching, and leadership skills * Customer-focused and organisational skills * Commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge * Problem-solving and decision-making skills * Merchandising skills * People management skills * IT skills * Department or team leader level experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferable but not essential **About Dunnes Stores** Dunnes Stores is Ireland's largest retailer, providing fashion, homewares, and food for our loyal customers.
