We are seeking a Department Manager to lead our Grocery Department in one of our Kildare stores, driving sales and profitability while delivering exceptional customer care and operational standards.

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Delivering the budgeted KPI plan for the department and ensuring operational standards are met
* Leading the team to deliver outstanding results and customer service
* Maximising sales through analysing sales data and pre-empting customer needs
* Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring the department has the right choice and levels of product
* Demonstrating excellent customer service and ensuring the "Dunnes Stores Experience" customer service programme is delivered
* Monitoring and addressing variations to the cost base of the department
* Setting and implementing department brand standards
* Ensuring the department complies with layouts and adjacencies
* Coaching and training the team to be passionate and knowledgeable about sales, product availability, and customer service

* Department or team leader level experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferable but not essential
