Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff in a well-established client's store in County Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and managing staff during their shift.
  • Maintain store standards, handle customer inquiries, and ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe shopping environment.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate store staff, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure shelves are adequately stocked.
  • Prepare and submit reports on store performance, including sales, staffing, and operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
