Job Description

My Client is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large Client in Cork.Key Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).Assist the Client with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit requirements.Ensure all financial activities are in compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.Ensure proper documentation and adherence to transfer pricing policies.Work closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure seamless service delivery to the Client. Mentor and support junior team members as needed.Qualifications and Skills:Fully-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPAMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a group accounting or similar within a Practice.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Benefits & Salary:Salary €45k-€55k DOE & performance-based bonusesCPDFlexible working arrangements and a supportive work-life balanceOpportunities for career advancement within a growing firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
