Group Accountant Job In Dublin

Avolon, a leading global aircraft leasing firm, seeks a Group Accountant to support its management and financial reporting requirements. The Group Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager to identify trends, analyze financial data, and provide commercial and transactional analysis to drive business performance. **Key Responsibilities:** • Identify trends and develop financial models to support executive decision making • Establish and maintain key metrics to provide insights into business performance • Develop financial models around Maintenance Reserve Income Recognition, Impairment & Residual Values • Prepare month-end and quarter-end close activities, including Balance Sheet reconciliations and variance analyses • Collaborate with the investor relations team to prepare quarterly results presentations • Provide commercial and accounting advice for debt, aircraft and lease related transactions • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery of month-end and quarter-end close activities **Requirements:** • Qualified ACA/ACCA • Exposure to US GAAP and IFRS Reporting Standards • Excellent Excel and modelling skills • Exposure to SOx compliant environments • Proven high level of quantitative ability • Proven ability to problem-solve within tight deadlines • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment Avolon is an equal opportunities employer, committed to cultivating opinion, respecting all views, recognizing people based on their merits without bias, and embracing diversity.
