The Job:

As Financial Accountant, you will have the unique opportunity to rotate between key areas of the finance function, starting with financial reporting and progressing into FP&A.


This role will provide a robust platform for your career development, equipping you with a diverse skill set that will enhance your future opportunities.


Key responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting:

Preparation of the Group annual report, interim, and quarterly financial statements, including primary statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS.

Drive improvements in the Group consolidation system and continuously review data quality.

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

Liaise with management reporting and Group teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting.

Review and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance through periodic reviews.

Prepare audit files and liaise with auditors, supporting the management of the audit process.

Ensure strong internal controls are in place, working closely with process integration teams.

Prepare statutory accounts for Group companies as required.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Work with senior stakeholders to deliver the annual budget, 5-year plan, and periodic forecasts.

Provide monthly analysis on key financial metrics, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow, supporting executive and Board reports.

Analyse and explain variances to budget on a monthly basis.

Support the acquisition programme by integrating new acquisitions into Group budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with the financial reporting and investor relations teams to provide insightful analysis and commentary for external reporting.

Work closely with business units and subsidiaries to provide insights on key commercial decisions.

Understand the key business drivers and trends to deliver meaningful business insights.

Other:

Collaborate with other functions within the Group Finance team, including Treasury, Projects, and Tax, gaining exposure to these areas as part of your role.

This will further enhance your skill set and provide a holistic view of the finance function.
