Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a technology business in a period of sustained growth who are hiring a Group Accountant to join their high performing team. Reporting to the Head of Controlling and Reporting, the successful candidate will be an ambitious qualified accountant with experience in auditing / working within the group accounting function of PLCs or a large multinational organisation. Responsibilities: Preparation of the Consolidated Financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Management of year-end financial audit Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts. Research and analysis of technical standards Supporting the development of accounting policies and processes across the organisation Assist in the development and implementation of best practice internal controls Ensure all statutory, Revenue and tax compliance deadlines are met across all subsidiaries. Detailed KPI reporting monthly. Build and sustain effective working relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and help drive key decisions and changes. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested Requirements ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant with 2-4 years PQE Experience working in a big 4 environment is a distinct advantage Strong technical IFRS knowledge Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across an organisation Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced Excel.
