Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Group Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the Co-op Accounts Payable team and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Co-op Accounts Payable team (AP Manager/4 AP administrators)
- Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures to streamline the accounts payable function
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, driving improvements and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Liaise with Accounts Payable Managers and teams on all Accounts Payable related issues and Continuous Improvements
- Report to senior management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential problems
- Preparation of monthly and other ad hoc reports and presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Excel and other accounting software
