Job Description

Our client, a leading asset manager are currently seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their Dublin city centre based finance team. This is a key role within their Group Finance function, reporting to theFinancial Controller and Head of Group Finance. The Group Financial Accountants tasks will also span the processing of day-to-day financial transactions, preparation of monthly management accounts working in collaboration with the FP&A team and involvement in the planning of annual audits and the production of statutory financial statements. Responsibilities: Management of accounting ledgers Preparation and reporting of management information, cash flow forecasting, and key involvement in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process Performance of month end management and year end statutory consolidations working as part of the group consolidation function Involvement in external audit process and the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102 Managing of the Irish AIFMs obligations and adherence with standards issued Working with the Head of Accounting and other team members to optimise use of current and future technology Requirements: Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with ideally 1 - 3 years PQE Financial Services / Asset Management experience Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across jurisdictions Excellent Excel knowledge and general system proficiency If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Andrew Wynne in confidence at the enclosed address.
