Job Title: Group Procurement Manager - Packaging Category Location: Dublin (Head Office) with flexible remote working Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Overview: A leading food manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Group Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of packaging category spend, valued at over €50 million annually. This role offers high autonomy and the opportunity to shape procurement strategies within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies for the packaging category, aligning with business objectives. Manage and optimise a spend of €50+ million across packaging materials. Lead supplier negotiations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers across Ireland, UK, and Europe. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and finance, to ensure cost efficiency and quality. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and sustainability. Regular travel to suppliers across Ireland, UK, and Europe to manage contracts and build supplier partnerships. Stay updated on market trends, risks, and opportunities within the packaging industry. Key Requirements: Proven experience in managing procurement for packaging, ideally within food or a similar manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
