Quality Management Specialist
Responsible for the coordination, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System ISO9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage registration of products and coordinate with certification bodies
- Ensure products meet CE marking requirements for Irish, UK, and French markets
- Lead the way in meeting regulatory requirements for Management Systems and certifications
- Maintain Quality standards and accreditations across Cork and UK sites
- Travel to UK site once a month
- Offer hybrid working after 6 months
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure certification to Quality Management System ISO9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO
- Ensure Quality and Environmental procedures are consistently applied and followed
- Manage, coordinate, and maintain ISO systems, including company records
- Ensure internal audits are carried out in a timely manner
- Manage external audits and develop internal reports
- Manage product testing and maintain incoming goods inspection system
- Develop and circulate relevant documentation, including product specifications
- Implement corrective action plans to prevent non-conforming products
- Develop and implement continuous improvement process
- Manage Document Control System and develop Technical Data Sheets
- Investigate and report on customer complaints
- Conduct and attend regular quality and operational meetings
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in a scientific or technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge and experience in Quality and Environmental Systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills
- Eligibility to live and work in the EU, fluent English
- Confident, enthusiastic individual with a "can-do" attitude
