Group Reservations and Revenue Manager

Clare Tourism is seeking a highly skilled Group Reservations and Revenue Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of a World Class Visitor Experience.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies and processes to optimize revenue growth.
  • Lead the reservations team and provide support to ensure a safe and world-class visitor experience.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop rate strategies and improve the booking and reservations system.
  • Produce regular reports on key performance indicators, yield, and revenue to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with operational management to manage capacity and develop standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a bespoke booking and reservations system.
  • Support and monitor the reservations departments at Clare Tourism.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop rate strategies.
  • Produce regular reports on key performance indicators, yield, and revenue.
  • Utilize rate comparison reports to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Manage the development and understanding of the trade and booking system.
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
  • Assist sales teams with trade contracts renewals and promotional information.
  • Support the sales and marketing management teams to promote online bookings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in yield/revenue management/reservations with at least 5 years management experience.
  • Degree in a similar or related discipline in tourism/visitor management, business/finance or related field.
  • Experience in PC-based systems and technologies.
  • Analytical and commercial approach.
  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and Health & Safety Systems.
  • Flexibility and strong problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of teamwork and motivation.
  • Proven organisational skills and experience in multi-tasking.
