The Group Tax Analyst will be responsible for providing tax support on a wide variety of projects across all tax heads reporting into the Group Tax Manager. This position is focused on consultancy and advisory type projects with a much smaller focus on compliance. The Group Tax Analyst will also get exposure to our international business and will be a key support for our international operations. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with hybrid working available. Providing advice to all business units to ensure that any tax queries are dealt with in a timely manner and no opportunities for tax savings are missed. This will include providing tax support for the Groups expanding international business units and projects including HR and employment tax related issues. You will research tax legislation, case law and practice as required. You will determine the impact of changes in tax policy on the Group including for example, BEPS Pillar II. You will communicate expected impacts to the wider business. You will ensure the business is aware of changes in tax legislation, Budget Day changes, tax practices etc. You will assist in providing training where needed. You will be assisting with identifying and implementing strategic tax planning opportunities projects for the Group. You will be a key point of contact for Revenue, cooperating with the Groups Revenue case management team as part of our engagement under the Cooperative Compliance Framework (CCF). You will also answer ad hoc queries that are raised by Revenue. You will support the Shared Services Centre with queries arising across all the tax heads (VAT, PAYE, RCT & PSWT). You will assist with identifying transfer pricing requirements and ensuring compliance in relation to same. Preparation of the year end corporation tax computations for the Irish group, the current and deferred tax computations for the Group and any notes/disclosures for the financial statements. You will be a key point of contact for the auditors for any queries. Preparation of corporation tax estimates to be included in budgets and quarterly forecasts. Ensuring compliance with transfer pricing requirements including Local Files, Master File and Country by Country Reporting where required. You will consider the availability of capital allowances on large-scale capital projects, acting as a key point of contact with third party advisors, where required. Minimum of 1-2 years PQE. Qualified ACA or ACCA / AITI (AITI is mandatory, having both ACA or ACCA & AITI is preferred) Strong tax technical skills essential. Industry experience not essential but advantageous. Knowledge of multiple tax heads will also be considered advantageous. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with other non-tax professionals. Ability to work to deadlines.
