We're looking for a Guest Services Manager to join our high-paced and evolving environment. This role requires someone with an insatiable curiosity, empathetic nature, and genuine passion for growing with and supporting others.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of the front desk on a daily basis, liaising between guests and all departments
- Welcome guests in a friendly manner, following Standard of Procedure
- Monitor and action feedback from guests, 3rd party websites, and clients, resolving any disputes or complaints professionally and within guidelines
- Verify payment upon check-in and follow procedures for different payment types
- Supervise department employees, ensuring correct standards and methods of service are maintained
- Anticipate and rectify problems to ensure guest satisfaction and well-being
- Manage and motivate a team of direct reports, deputizing in the absence of the Front Office Manager
Requirements
- Previous management experience of at least 2 years, preferably in a similar property
- Excellent communication skills, highly focused, motivated, and professional in appearance and presentation
- Ability to provide exceptional customer care and attention to detail
- Experience using Opera and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service
- Ability to motivate, appraise, support, and challenge the team to deliver world-class results
