We're looking for a talented Haematology Specialist to join our team.
The Role:
- Provide and manage training to current and new technical staff in peripheral blood film morphology.
- Carry out specialized slide reviews.
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values.
- Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes.
- Responsible for peripheral blood morphology training and ongoing staff competency.
- Apply scientific principles and concepts to complete deliverables.
- Responsible for quality and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Plan and maintain sufficient resources to accomplish group tasks.
- Evaluate, coach and motivate staff.
- Promote and participate in professional development of scientists and laboratory facilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
- 5+ years of experience working in a Haematology Laboratory.
- Excellent Blood morphology skills.
- Experience in training/teaching blood morphology in the laboratory is desired.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit appropriate time management skills.
