We're looking for a talented Haematology Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and manage training to current and new technical staff in peripheral blood film morphology
  • Carry out specialized slide reviews
  • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values
  • Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes
  • Responsible for peripheral blood morphology training and ongoing staff competency
  • Apply scientific principles and concepts to complete deliverables
  • Responsible for quality and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Plan and maintain sufficient resources to accomplish group tasks
  • Evaluate, coach and motivate staff
  • Promote and participate in professional development of scientists and laboratory facilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Haematology Laboratory
  • Excellent Blood morphology skills
  • Experience in training/teaching blood morphology in the laboratory is desired
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit appropriate time management skills
