We're looking for a talented Haematology Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and manage training to current and new technical staff in peripheral blood film morphology
- Carry out specialized slide reviews
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values
- Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes
- Responsible for peripheral blood morphology training and ongoing staff competency
- Apply scientific principles and concepts to complete deliverables
- Responsible for quality and compliance with applicable regulations
- Plan and maintain sufficient resources to accomplish group tasks
- Evaluate, coach and motivate staff
- Promote and participate in professional development of scientists and laboratory facilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- 5+ years of experience working in a Haematology Laboratory
- Excellent Blood morphology skills
- Experience in training/teaching blood morphology in the laboratory is desired
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit appropriate time management skills
