About the Role We are recruiting for a Head of audioXi, reporting to the Group Commercial Director. The Head of audioXi will play a pivotal role for leading the digital commercial activities for Bauer Media Audio Ireland. This is a critical role in driving revenue performance and the growth of audioXi with responsibility for overseeing the commercial operations, sales strategies, and revenue generation for advertising across our digital audio portfolio. The successful candidate will drive audioXi’s development as Irish market leader, while effectively managing other digital revenue streams such as display, video and social. Seamless collaboration with our wider Agency Sales and Direct Sales teams will be crucial to success in this role. Additionally, this role will involve working closely with the group central team, leveraging best practices and insights from our other markets. What you’ll do: audioXi Commercial Development: Oversee the ongoing management and delivery of revenue growth for audioXi, ensuring its sustained growth & innovation. Digital Transformation Leadership: Drive the digital transformation of our audio advertising business in Ireland, integrating innovative technologies and strategies from across Bauer and empowering our wider commercial teams to improve their digital capabilities locally. Team Management: Manage a team of wider digital experts across the Irish business, supporting them to drive digital transformation. This will encompass functions like measurement, data, ad operations and partner managers. Group Partnership: Work closely with teams across Bauer to ensure Ireland is implementing and adapting best in class practices and learnings Advertising Product Innovation: Track major trends in digital audio advertising to help innovate on new products & offerings. Maintain a deep understanding of our tech stack capabilities and align any innovation with advertisers needs Collaboration with Commercial Teams: Ensure seamless integration and execution of digital audio advertising initiatives by closely collaborating across our Agency sales and Direct sales teams. Commercial Digital Figurehead: Serve as a representative for Bauer Media Audio Ireland in the wider advertising space, develop local relationships with key agencies, speak at industry events and engage with relevant industry & trade bodies. You have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with an owners mindset. You have a history of maintaining and growing strong client relationships. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. You have a passion for innovation, a track record of implementing innovative solutions and staying abreast of industry trends. You have demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets and other KPIs. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
