Purpose of role The Head of Commercial Finance for the Take Home Trade is the Finance leader for the channel, partnering with the Commercial Director, Take Home Trade leadership team and Diageo IOI executive team to deliver and execute an ambitious strategy for growth and superior business performance in Ireland's largest beer and spirits supplier. Key Deliverables Strategic leadership and business partnering with the Commercial Director for Take-Home Trade. Ownership of P&L, balance sheet and working capital delivery for the channel, including the management of risks and opportunities Analyse business performance using market and internal data to identify actionable insights and drive business performance Lead and develop programme of long-term margin expansion activity for the channel, creating opportunities for Diageo and our customers through a combination of new product development, net revenue management and portfolio optimisation Drive a culture of continuous improvement in the finance function through collaboration with the wider Ireland finance community and our global shared services business partners Decision support for customer commercial negotiations, strategic projects and operational matters including S&OP processes Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities Qualified Accountant or MBA with a strong academic record and 8 years PQE Successful management of senior stakeholders Strong business partnering experience, ideally in a commercial environment Exceptional ability to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect Deep personal accountability for great performance Strong end to end commercial FMCG understanding Ability to manage change and process improvement Flexibility This is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time and compressed hours.
