We're seeking an AML Officer to lead strategic direction, training, and advisory support on Compliance and AML/CFT. The role involves developing robust policies, monitoring compliance, and engaging cross-functionally. You'll oversee regulatory engagement and assist with special projects in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in compliance within the financial services, FinTech, Payments, or cryptocurrency industries.
- Strong background in EMI regulations, especially for AML/CFT.
- Strong analytical and research skills, and process and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, critical thinker, and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment.
- Intuitive, highly ethical, and comfortable to question and challenge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Haves:
- Crypto or fintech experience a plus.
- CAMS or equivalent certification.
