Our client, a regulated MiFID entity, is seeking a Head of Compliance & Risk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and compliance frameworks,CBI relationship management and compliance advisory. You will report to the COO and work in a small team of experienced individuals. This role is hands on and strategic. Hybrid working on offer.The JobDevelop and maintain risk and compliance frameworks, policies and proceduresCreate a detailed annual compliance plan and comprehensive program of workReport to the senior leadership team and board with comprehensive updates on compliance workOwn the relationship with the CBI with regard to compliance responsibilitiesProvide compliance advice in relation to the development of new fundsLead a strong culture of compliance across the companyManage the KYC requirements received from the portfolio companies from their banking relationshipsPrepare all materials for quarterly Risk Committee meetings including the Risk RegisterConduct regular training sessions tailored to the firm’s activitiesThe CandidateProven experience in a support role to a Head of Compliance or someone in a Head of Compliance or similar role within a regulated entity - ManCo, AIFM or MiFID regulated.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practicesExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExperience in KYC and risk managementRelevant degree in finance, law, or a related fieldProfessional qualification in compliance or risk management preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
