Job Description
A south Dublin based insurance firm are looking for a head of compliance to join their team. Reporting to the CRO with a dotted line to both board and CEO. You will be acting as a compliance partner to the business ensuring a compliance first approach and promoting this culture. The company operates a hybrid model. This is a PCF12 role.
Main responsibilities of the head of compliance:
- Build and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Ensure there is a strong compliance framework in place and amend as necessary
- Keep abreast of regulatory updates and advise business as required
- Act as compliance advisory partner to both the board and senior management
- Prepare and present reports to the board
- Develop the compliance monitoring plan
- Liaise and act as key contact for the Central Bank of Ireland
- Design and deliver compliance training
As an ideal candidate for this role you will have previous experience as a PCF12 head of compliance. Knowledge of general insurance products or strong working knowledge of the consumer protection code is a must. You will be looking for an engaging role where you can get stuck in with the team and are happy to be part of a building of frameworks. You will be a strong communicator.
