The client is an insurance intermediary.Any interested candidates must currently or previously hold a PCF-12 function within a financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).Main ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for clients with regulatory bodies and government agencies in Ireland.Manage the compliance programme and carry out the day-to-day activities of the compliance programme for the clients.Manage and complete all regulatory reporting requirements of the CBI and support reporting to other regulators across the EU, where required.Work with relevant counterparts to ensure all Compliance policies, risk assessments, procedures and supplementary documents for the company’s Irish entity are reviewed on an annual basis and reflect the current regulatory landscape.Maintain a Monitoring Programme and work with stakeholders to identify, document, and manage compliance riskActively participate in any strategic business initiatives set by senior management as required.Keep up to date with regulatory developments impacting the business.Prepare and submit reports to the Board, senior management, and other stakeholders pertaining to the Compliance Programme.Participate in business development activities with clients and partners.Key requirements3+ years successfully leading a compliance function in a retail financial institution regulated by the CBI.Significant experience in liaising with the CBIDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task and delegate while being a key player in the global compliance team and the organization.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or law degree. Or other degrees combined with relevant experience.This role is open to applicants who are domiciled in Ireland. The position is fixed term contract.Pay range: 650-800 euro a day #J-18808-Ljbffr
