What is the Role: Reporting to the Head of Cyber Transformation, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic leader responsible for overseeing and driving cyber security programmes for AIB Group as well as ensuring that the outcomes of initiatives driven by functional security areas meet the overall Group's Enterprise Security objectives. This role involves overseeing and managing a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes to senior management. The role will play a crucial role coordinate with cross-functional teams and delivery partners to ensure resources are properly allocated and utilised for optimal program delivery. Key accountabilities; As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will lead a range of cyber projects and programmes (including strategy investment planning, CISO programme delivery), complete project planning and budgeting, define deliverable structure and content, facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution. Develop and manage the annual lifecycle for the CISO programme to incorporate cyclical deliverables and wider Enterprise Information Security organisation requirements. Develops expert knowledge of the direction, priorities, opportunities and challenges within the Enterprise Information Security functions helping to prioritise security focus and drive good risk decisions Implement immediate remediation actions and provide recommendations for long-term solutions. Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on strategy and execution across all areas of the Bank. Minimum Criteria; Minimum 5 years in a Leadership role in information-intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises Possesses an in-depth and holistic comprehension of cybersecurity spanning people, processes, and technology. Recognises the alignment of cybersecurity with broader business goals and organisational culture Demonstrates adept project management abilities, leveraging extensive cybersecurity expertise. Skilled in project and team management, with the capacity to comprehend broader initiatives from initial scope to eventual execution Proven experience of navigating complex (matrix) organization structures and managing internal executive stakeholders and external regulators. Progressive and effective leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
