**Data Risk Management Director** A seasoned leader is sought to establish and enhance the oversight of Data Risks for a financial institution, providing guidance and oversight for local entities and driving initiatives to build out compliance with regulations. **Job Description** This role will be responsible for providing challenge on data management, governance, and risk mitigation activities in support of the group's data strategy. The Director will establish and continuously enhance the oversight of Data Risks for the Group, providing guidance and oversight for local entities in alignment with group programs, policies, and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create and maintain Data Risk Management Frameworks and Policies, including Risk Appetite Measures * Embed the Data Risk Management Roadmap for effective second-line oversight, including the establishment of relevant metrics and key indicators * Analyze and monitor emerging Data Risks and trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management * Drive forward initiatives to build out compliance with Data Risk Management regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to European banking institutions * Conduct comprehensive reviews of Data Risk assessments across the organization, providing effective challenge related to the identification of potential risks and opportunities * Stay updated on Data Risk developments, regulations, and industry best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement **Requirements:** * 8+ years leading complex business/data/technology initiatives within and across multiple businesses * In-depth understanding of data governance best practices and industry trends * Experience with the creation and oversight of Board, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting * Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Creative and analytical thinker * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment **Benefits:** * Pension * Healthcare * Bonus
