As we look to 2025 and beyond, we believe the right combination of AI agents working on our users’ behalf can create dramatically more value as we transition our platform from traditional software-as-a-service to results-as-a-service.The roleWe’re looking for a visionary and technical leader to join us as the Head of Data Science. You will play a critical role in helping us realize that vision. Your expertise in deep learning and generative AI will help us expand our sense of what’s possible. You will bring your leadership experience to develop and guide our data science team and help them achieve more than they thought possible. You will play a meaningful part in empowering global companies to create, procure, and market safe, sustainable products in a constantly changing world.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy:Lead, grow and inspire our team of data scientists and AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Define and execute the data science strategy aligned with our mission to deliver AI-powered solutions for product and corporate compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and domain experts to ensure AI initiatives succeed in performing the key jobs for our users.AI Product Development:Spearhead the development of generative AI models and AI agents that automate complex compliance tasks, delivering seamless results to our customer.Leverage varied unstructured data to build or tune models that improve the accuracy and efficiency of the agents that compose our solution.Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, continuously integrating cutting-edge techniques and technologies into our offerings.Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI solution development, from conceptualization and prototyping to deployment and optimization.Ensure our AI systems are ethical, transparent, and compliant with relevant regulations.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate collaboration between the data science team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of AI projects with overall company objectives.Serve as an internal advocate for AI, educating teams on the transformative potential of AI technologies, and fostering our culture of innovation.Engage with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to keep our AI capabilities at the cutting edge.Demonstrate C&R’s technology leadership through authoring whitepapers and speaking at industry events and interacting directly with customers and prospects.Experience & Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.15+ years of experience in data science and AI in a commercial environment.Proven experience in building and leading data science teams.Experience in taking a scalable and tested GenAI solution to production.Deep expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and cloud-native architectures.Hands-on experience with modern data science tools and libraries.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.Experience with AWS and related data services.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong understanding of software architecture for high availability and fault tolerance.Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.About us:Compliance & Risks is the leading provider of market access and product compliance SaaS solutions and is recognized as the leading end-to-end global product compliance solution provider across the technology, consumer goods and retail, industrial goods and life sciences sectors.
