**Head of Data Science** **Lead a team of data scientists and AI engineers to drive innovation and excellence in AI-powered solutions for product and corporate compliance.** We're building the future of product and corporate compliance driven by AI, and have already delivered real value to our internal team and to our users with generative AI. As we look to 2025 and beyond, we believe the right combination of AI agents working on our users' behalf can create dramatically more value as we transition our platform from traditional software-as-a-service to results-as-a-service. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Leadership & Strategy:** + Lead, grow and inspire a team of data scientists and AI engineers + Define and execute the data science strategy aligned with our mission + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI initiatives succeed * **AI Product Development:** + Spearhead the development of generative AI models and AI agents + Leverage varied unstructured data to build or tune models + Stay at the forefront of AI advancements and integrate cutting-edge techniques and technologies * **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:** + Facilitate collaboration between the data science team and other departments + Serve as an internal advocate for AI and educate teams on its transformative potential + Engage with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to keep our AI capabilities at the cutting edge **Experience & Qualifications:** * B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field * 15+ years of experience in data science and AI in a commercial environment * Proven experience in building and leading data science teams * Deep expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and cloud-native architectures * Hands-on experience with modern data science tools and libraries * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL * Experience with AWS and related data services * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Strong understanding of software architecture for high availability and fault tolerance * Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace **About us:** Compliance & Risks is the leading provider of market access and product compliance solutions.
